On our last day in Babler, things were greening up quite nicely!
Gah!!! The Jeep salesman warned us about this! Should have purchased the windshield warranty! A kicked up rock from a truck wounded our precious tow vehicle. Less than a month old, and our last day in Saint Louis and now we have a new expense. Boo!!!
Oh so overweight! Trapped at a truck stop in Pacific, we prepare to make yet another purge of our possessions! We thought we were done, but nope! We had a few hundred pounds to shed before we made our first, long journey while loaded up!
Tow bar and connections properly installed? Check!
Jeep braking system properly installed? Check! Tired, but finally ready to roll!!!

After a late night arrival, we rolled out of Pheasant Acres RV park for the last leg of our journey to Crane, MO!
Donning the captain’s hat. Locals, friends, coworkers, and family hate it. Scotty loves and wears it with pride.
Sometimes easily overlooked, great beauty can be found in good ol’ Missouri!
Made it to the city limit! Home of the annual Crane Broiler Festival, the elusive McCloud River Rainbow Trout, and less than 50 miles from Don Johnson’s rural birthplace; this is Crane, MO!
We settle in for a couple of weeks on Traci’s folks’ property. Let the moochdocking begin! Seriously, thanks for installing the 50 amp service guys!
